Gerald C. Davis – Executive Director

Gerald started as a volunteer at the Food Pantry in 2012, taking over as Executive Director when Debbie Realey retired.

Gerald has a varied background in social giveback, with experience as a volunteer at the “Cathedral Kitchen” in Camden, as well as numerous efforts at St. Paul’s in Camden, and the “Homeless Outreach” in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and in front of the main Public Library on Sunday mornings.

After owning and operating his own construction business for 25 years, he retired in 2011 and embarked on a second career in social giveback.

Mr. Davis was educated at West Chester University. He holds a Property Claims Law Associate designation (PCLA) and is currently a project Coordinator for “Jersey Cares” in Newark, N.J. He has three adult children and one grandchild.

Carol Russell – General Manager

Carol has a long history in the social giveback community with volunteer experience at the “Cathedral Kitchen” in Camden, N.J., where she currently is a Meal Captain and “Volunteers of America” in Camden, where she handled feeding for the homeless.

Carol formed and currently manages “Project Hugs”, an outreach that collects food, water and blankets for the homeless. She also runs “Project Juice Box”, an outreach program for the “Seeds of Hope” ministries in Camden, which collects juice boxes and snack items for a Sunday homeless outreach venue.

Carol was educated at Misericordia College in Dallas, Pa. and is a retired elementary school teacher. She has three adult children and four grandchildren.
